Buy Tix for Nats Game By June 15th

Pack 1530 will attend the Washington Nationals Scout Day on September 22nd.  The game against the Miami Marlins  starts at 1:35 PM with a pre-game parade for the Scouts.  Ticket price is $11 each.  If you are interested in attending, please contact P. Bladich.  The deadline to order is June 15th.  It's still early, but the Nats are sure to finish strong so we need to get our seats locked in now!

We had an AWESOME turnout and a great day at the park last year. Let's show our Scouting spirit and do it again.  Besides, what better way to get out of the "back to school" blues than a ballgame.

June Campout/Bridging on June 8th

The June Pack Meeting, Bridging Ceremony, and Campout is on June 8th at Camp Snyder, in Haymarket, VA.  (30-minute drive west on I-66.)   Check-in starts at noon.  The Pack has reserved three campsites, each with a fire-ring, and the pavilion.  In addition, the Pirate Ship has been reserved for the day.  Before the Pack Meeting, there will be afternoon activities, such as model rockets, hikes, and a parent-child water fight at the Pirate Ship area.  The Pack will provide a grill, s'mores and breakfast.   Each Den needs to plan its own dinner.  The Pack will provide a grill, s'mores and breakfast.

Event Schedule
  • 3:00pm - Rockets
    • Launches will be at the big field next to the pool.
    • Scouts wanting to participate need to bring rockets and engines.
  • 4:00pm - Pack Kickball
    • To be held at fields near pirate ship.
  • Entire Day - Pirate Ship Playground
    • Parents or dens can bring scouts to the ship to explore, climb, and have fun.
  • Through-out Day - Pirate Ship Water Wars
    • Pack will have water balls, soakers, and buckets located at the pavilion for use.  Scouts can also bring their own water soakers.  Please no water guns.
    • This is an independent activity.
    • Water faucets are located near the pool to fill buckets. 
    • Recommend towels and extra clothes
  • 7:15pm - Den dinners complete
  • 7:30pm to 8:30pm - Bridging Ceremony at the Pavilion
  • 8:30pm to 9:15pm - Campfire Songs and Skits
  • 9:15pm - S'mores
