Closing Flag Ceremony

Arrangements: Flag is in its stand in the front of the room. Flag bearer/color guard is in position in the rear of the room. Upon introduction the leader moves to the front of the room.
  • Leader: "Attention! Will the audience please rise for the retiring of the colors?" The audience rises. 
  • Leader: "Color guard, advance!" The flag bearer/color guard advance to the flag stand. 
  • Leader: "Color guard, retire the colors!" The flag bearer removes the colors and the color guard strides to the back of the room. 
  • Leader: "Hand salute!" Leader and audience salute as the colors are retired. 
  • Leader (once the colors have been retired): "Two!"
